How does childhood trauma affects us as adults

Few years ago I heard something very interesting…

Every adult is still a child but in a bigger body.

What does it mean?

Well, after studying this subject, here’s how I understand this:

When we are children, we learn everything about world and our mind creates a kind of map based on which it keeps us from dangerous.

Based on this every negative situation or experience can have huge impact on us as adults but we may not be aware of it.

As you can see, our memories determine how our life looks like and this is why changing those memories is the very first step to make positive changes in life.

Good news is that we don’t have to consciously know what happened in the past and still change those memories from negative to positive.
